Dusan Vitek has successfully established Kerio Technologies, Inc., a company from the Czech Republic in the highly competitive Silicon Valley software market. Kerio is headquartered in San Jose, California and has offices in New York, the Czech Republic, Germany, United Kingdom, and Russia. As vice president of Worldwide Marketing, he led the company through a transition from SOHO vendor to an SMB market leader. Mr. Vitek has successfully rebranded Kerio’s award-winning products for the messaging and Internet security markets. His strategy for re-architecting how the company operates has led company expansion to six offices worldwide. He also shifted the global sales organisation from a direct sales model to a partner reseller sales model. The channel partner sales drive more than 90 percent of the company’s total revenues with 4,400 partners in 108 countries. Since 2001, he is responsible for building and managing several global marketing teams across two continents in six countries. Mr. Vitek is an expert and industry spokesperson for the SMB market.
He brings more than twelve years of experience in sales, marketing management, and market research. Prior to joining Kerio, he co-founded Advico Media, a high-tech PR agency. He has held several account management positions with market research and advertising agencies, including McCann-Erickson. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Economics Prague in the Czech Republic.
