COLLABORATION TOOLS
Above all, they must be easy to learn
"Despite the wide offer of collaboration tolls on the market, there are still many gaps. When developing Kerio Workspace, we tried to think of it as a solution for ordinary users who want to easily collaborate on files and share them. And that is the major shortcoming of the other existing tools," states Jaroslav Snajdr, Product Team Leader of Kerio Workspace in an
interview given for a Czech online portal
www.ictmanazer.cz.
BENEFITS OF SIMPLICITY
Helping collaboration flourish
Peter Moon, technology journalist, for the Australian Financial Review wrote:
"For our money, the name Kerio on any technology is a badge of honor."
Needless to say, we agree. This flattering quote comes in a very elegant article about Kerio Workspace. Peter examines the advantages of a simple tool like Kerio Workspace versus and over-engineered product that is designed to scale enterprise wide. SOPHOS AV UPDATE
Sophos AV Engine Update Required
The Sophos Anti-Virus scanning engine included in Kerio Connect (7.1.X) and Kerio Control (7.0.X and 7.1.X) has been replaced with a newer version and Sophos has ceased delivering virus definition updates to those versions. The engine will continue to run, but virus definitions will no longer be updated. To ensure your customers continue to receive the latest security updates they must download and install the latest version of
Kerio Connect (7.4) or
Kerio Control (7.3) to avoid any disruption of the Sophos security service.
