Kerio Technologies Selected as Presenter for Exclusive U.S. Department of Homeland Security Event
Kerio ServerFirewall™ will be introduced to DHS at Emerging Security Technology Forum
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Kerio Technologies, Inc., providers of Internet messaging and firewall software for small to medium-sized enterprises, today announces its inclusion at a new U.S Department of Homeland Security event, Emerging Security Technology Forum (ESTF). The purpose of the ESTF is to give the U.S. government an opportunity to evaluate the best in security technology in order to combat the nation’s growing security risks. ESTF will identify new sources of critical security technology from the private sector to fulfill needs in the government that are currently unmet by standard commercial offerings.
At the event, Kerio will be presenting Kerio ServerFirewall to representatives of the DHS as a leading multi-layer Intrusion Prevention System designed specifically to protect exposed servers in corporate networks of all sizes. Kerio ServerFirewall complements gateway firewalls through detecting and blocking intrusions overlooked on the network’s perimeter. Kerio will be one of 13 vendors selected to participate at ESTF.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate Cyber Security Research and Development Program within the Homeland Security Advanced Research Projects Agency (HSARPA) announced that 13 technology vendors have been selected to present information security solutions to government personnel at the DHS/S&T Emerging Security Technology Forum (ESTF) on April 13-14, 2005.
